Apologies to any regular readers for such a long gap between posts. The last 3 months have been a combination of busy and an emotional rollercoaster...without any water time too! :o(

Early in February I went down to PZ property hunting and was fortunate to find a house that will suit our needs. An offer was made and accepted and the whole process began to roll without any hitch...until early in March! Our buyer's buyer thought it a good idea to upset the apple cart by pulling out after some 6 weeks citing they couldn't afford their mortgage requirements after all! Call me old fashioned, but knowing your budget limitations before entering into any negotiations seems a crucial piece of information to begin with.

We are all not amused and really angry with these people for wasting our time. Our buyers are obviously not best pelased and we feel for them too. Since then we have had to keep our options open, opening our doors to new potential punters. But then so have the owners of the property we have bid for. At the moment it is still us in the frame, but we know this is as likely to change as things our end.

Yesterday too we were informed by Ben's intended new school, that should we not be able to get him into it before the current school year ends; then his place may not be guarantee-able. This on top of a seemingly promising viewing over the w/e coming to nothing, does seem to be propelling us towards another postponement.

Spirits are low, and there are no waves to ease the strain with. Makes the missed swells in past weeks seem all the more frustrating to have been kept from :o(
